The Mailocator Engage service is paid for using credits based on the actual number of unique visits.
This means you only pay for visitors who can actually use Mailocator. There is no limit on the number of pages viewed, campaigns or features used.
How credit is used
1 credit = 1 unique visit per 24 hours.
Mailocator always counts unique visitors in 24-hour intervals. Repeated viewing of additional pages by a single visitor within this interval does not count as a further unique visit.
Credit usage is not affected by:
- the number of pages viewed
- the number of campaigns launched
- the number of campaign impressions
- the number of features used
Estimating credit usage
You can estimate your expected usage based on the number of users in Google Analytics or another analytics tool.
This figure is for guidance only. Mailocator counts unique visitors in separate 24-hour intervals, so the resulting consumption over a longer period may be higher than the number of users displayed in the analytics tool.
Using credits
You can use credits across all your projects and for other supported services.
Credit can be used:
- to run the Mailocator Engage application
- for detailed email address validation
- to activate the monthly plan for the Editor application
Credit cannot be used for email campaigns or to run the Maileon application, which is billed separately.
Agencies, developers and freelancers can allocate credit amongst individual clients in their portfolio.
Credit validity
There is no time limit on the use of credit.
However, after two or more years, any remaining credit may be recalculated in line with current price levels. We therefore recommend topping up with an amount of credit that you expect to use up within approximately 12 months.
