Filter by number of views of a specific page

This filter allows you to launch a campaign when a user visits the same page multiple times within a certain period. Mailocator reviews the visitor's history and activates the campaign as soon as the number of views matches your settings.

This is particularly useful when repeated visits indicate increased interest, indecision, or hesitation before making a purchase.

Where is it most commonly used?

The filter is ideal for situations where repeated visits signal a strong purchase intent or need for support:

When tracking repeated visits to product details.

If the user returns to a specific category or service.

For pages where repeated views indicate hesitation (e.g., shipping, return policy, contact).

What does this filter solve?

It helps capture users when they are deciding, comparing, or hesitating. It allows you to target users with a higher level of interest who return to certain content but have not yet completed the action (e.g., did not purchase, did not submit a form, etc.).

Practical example

A user has visited a specific product three times in the last seven days.
You can use this clear signal of interest to display a campaign with an incentive to purchase—such as a shipping discount, a limited-time offer, or an availability alert.

Best practice tip

Set the number of impressions and the period to match the typical behavior of your customers.
For products with a long decision-making process, choose a longer period (5–14 days), and for fast-moving goods, choose a shorter period (1–3 days).

The campaign should offer clear help or motivation that will help the visitor make a decision—not just repeat common information.
