Trigger Campaign by Region or Language

Why use these settings?

Targeting by country and region, browser language, and page language allows Mailocator to display campaigns only to visitors for whom they are relevant. This ensures that campaigns are displayed in the appropriate linguistic and geographical context, which increases the comprehensibility, credibility, and overall relevance of the message.

These settings are especially important for localized campaigns, regional offers, or multilingual websites, where it is necessary to ensure that content is displayed only to the right audience.

Do you have increased traffic from foreign users, for example from Ukraine? With this setting, you can display localized messages or direct visitors to the appropriate language or regional version of the content.

Where does it work best?

Use location and language filters when your campaign is linked to the visitor's specific environment:

when displaying campaigns that are only valid for selected countries or regions (e.g., shipping, currency, service availability)

when targeting campaigns based on the visitor's browser language

when limiting campaigns to a specific language version of the site

for multilingual websites where each language version has its own content or offer

Best practice tip:

If possible, match the campaign language to the language of the website or browser. For region-restricted campaigns, always combine the country or region filter with the selection of the right audience to prevent campaigns from being displayed outside the intended area or to users for whom the campaign is not relevant.

If you want to use Mailocator in multiple languages, we recommend creating a separate project for each language version. This will ensure clearer campaign management and more accurate targeting.
