Impact of campaign delay on LCP

A short delay in campaign display (e.g., 1–2 seconds) usually improves the user experience – visitors have time to orient themselves, and the page content is not distracting. As a result, most campaigns appear more natural and achieve better results.

A campaign display delay of more than 2 seconds can negatively affect the LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) metric, as it delays the loading of the main content of the page.

To avoid performance degradation, enable the "Wait for user interaction" option – the campaign will only start after a click, scroll, or other interaction, so it has no impact on LCP.

What is LCP (Largest Contentful Paint)?

LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) is a page loading speed metric and is part of Google Core Web Vitals. If LCP deteriorates, Google evaluates the page as slower and less usable. A practical consequence may be a lower page ranking in search results, especially for competitive queries where speed and UX quality play a role.
